The Castelveder winery, traditional wines

The Castelveder winery is located on the hills of Lombardy. Excellent location for the cultivation of their excellent wine products, but at the same time a place rich in tourist excellence. The visitor can make beautiful walks on ancient paths that lead to the Madonna della Rosa sanctuary (XIV century) in an enchanting path of oaks, chestnut trees, heather and junipers.

History

The company’s history begins with Renato and Elena Alberti, who in 1975, convinced that the secret of the bubbles was in their land, planted the first cuttings with confidence. The result are wines that are excellent masterpieces, intrinsic in tradition and research to get the best. Creators of the well-deserved success Tiziano Franchi with the advice of the oenologist Teresio Schiavi. The values ​​of Elena and Renato were collected by her niece Camilla who leads the company today.

Wines

The Castelveder estate produces 80,000 bottles with grapes from vineyards that still retain their first names: the Ronco del Castellotto, the Madonna della Rosa, the Palazzina and the Cilinder, the Nulli and the Guast and Capelét.

Clusters of Pinot and Chardonnay with fleshy transparency, Merlot, Barbera; Cabernet and Nebbiolo allow Castelveder to have a raw material of the best quality.

Franciacorta Brut

Fresh and balanced, it is obtained from the fragrance and delicacy of Chardonnay grapes.

Color: bright shiny straw yellow. Fine and persistent perlage.

Bouquet: Intense and characteristic, reminiscent of the crust of freshly baked bread, white flowers and vanilla.

Taste: Rich, soft, persistent. The taste expresses the most of its soft, elegant finesse thanks to a good fruity finish.

Temperature: Combined with any meal, perfect with cold cuts. Serve at 6-8 °.

Monte Della Rosa

Slightly spicy and vanilla, thanks to the passage in oak barrels, Monte della Rosa takes its name from the vineyard of the same name located above the Castelveder winery, at the foot of the 14th century Sanctuary of the Madonna della Rosa.

During the harvest, the grapes were dried on racks in a special dry and ventilated area, to concentrate aromas and fragrances.

Color: Intense and brilliant ruby ​​red with garnet reflections.

Aroma: Concentrate, intense, typical, with hints of spices and ripe cherry, with a fresh vegetal note given by Cabernet.

Taste: Full-bodied, it is concentrated, soft and slightly tannic on the palate.
