The Winemaking

The winemaking of Alturis Chardonnay follows both traditional and innovative methods to ensure a high-quality product. The Chardonnay grape is cultivated using the Guyot and Friulian single-arched cane systems, which allow optimal vine management. Harvesting takes place in September, when the grapes achieve the perfect balance between sugars and acidity. Once harvested, the grapes undergo gentle pressing, and the must ferments at a controlled temperature. The result is a wine with an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., maintaining the freshness and elegance typical of Chardonnay.

Tasting the Chardonnay

Visually, Alturis Chardonnay presents a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, indicating freshness and vitality. On the nose, it exudes delicate aromas with fruity and floral tones, enriched by mineral hints. The aroma is a blend of jasmine, golden apple, and ripe tropical fruits. On the palate, the wine is lively and balanced, soft with pronounced sapidity. It stands out for its elegance and its ability to evolve in the glass.

Alturis Chardonnay is incredibly versatile when it comes to food pairings. It pairs perfectly with light appetizers, seafood salads, and delicate risottos.
