Founded by Marco and Massimo Zorzettig, the Alturis winery is a gem of Friuli, nestled in a picturesque landscape. The winery was designed to blend technology and nature, symbolizing strong roots and a forward-looking vision. Built in a hollow at the base of the hills, it represents a perfect synergy between the land and innovation, with a production that favors white wines (70%) over reds (30%).
Wine Offerings: Excellence in the Glass
Alturis offers a complete sensory experience with its Grovis Brut sparkling wines from Ribolla Gialla grapes and Extra Dry Prosecco. These wines, with their captivating bubbles and floral fragrances, are ideal for pairing with fish dishes and light appetizers. Among the native whites, Ribolla Gialla and Friulano stand out for their freshness and minerality, perfectly complementing typical products like San Daniele ham.
Classic whites such as Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer, and Müller Thurgau further enrich the offering, with distinctive aromas and elegance that make them versatile for pairings, from shellfish to white meats.
