The wine Antea Bianco by Tenuta Anfosso
Antea Bianco is a captivating wine produced by the renowned Tenuta Anfosso Winery. Situated among the vineyards of Soldano and San Biagio della Cima, this label reflects the essence of the Ligurian territory, blending tradition and innovation. The wine boasts a color reminiscent of ancient gold, very luminous, promising a rich and enveloping sensory experience.
The Winemaking
The production of Antea Bianco begins with the harvesting of Rossese Bianco grapes, a rare and precious variety. The grapes are left to macerate for 96 hours at a controlled temperature of 10°/12°C, preserving the fruit’s aromaticity and freshness. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks for about a month at 14°/16°C. Subsequently, the wine rests for a year in 500-liter acacia barrels, a process that enriches the wine’s aromatic profile, giving it complexity and finesse. The aging is completed with an additional 3 months in the bottle, ensuring a final product that is balanced and harmonious.
Tasting the wine of the winery
On the nose, Antea Bianco is clean and complex, with notes of fruits and flowers reminiscent of a blossoming garden. Hints of aromatic herbs and citrus envelop the senses in an intriguing embrace. On the palate, the wine balances softness and freshness, with a marked sapidity that resembles an arrow hitting its target. The aftertaste reveals a light sweet almond and a briny note, making the tasting experience consistent and enveloping.
Food Pairings
Antea Bianco is a versatile and refined wine, perfect for accompanying dishes based on fish and shellfish, enhancing the freshness and delicacy of marine flavors. It pairs beautifully with pesto pasta, fresh cheeses, and white meats, thanks to its elegant structure and aromatic complexity. Its versatility makes it ideal for various occasions, always ensuring a high-level gastronomic experience.
In summary, Antea Bianco from Tenuta Anfosso Winery is a wine that enchants with its brilliance, complexity, and consistency, a true gem of Ligurian winemaking.
