THE WINE
The Malbec Estate Premium from the Alta Vista winery is produced with 100% Malbec grapes grown in the vineyards owned by the winery, which are located in the regions of Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco in the Mendoza area. We are in the most important wine-growing area of Argentina.
THE WINEMAKING
After the harvest, only the selected grapes go to the cellar for winemaking. Once in the cellar, the grapes are rechecked to choose only the best. The winemaking takes place in concrete tanks. Regarding the refinement that lasts approximately twelve months, half of the wine matures in lightly toasted French oak barrels while the other half remains in the concrete tanks. After blending and bottling, the wine rests for another four months in the cellar before being released onto the market.
THE TASTING
Intense ruby red. The aroma is elegant, with fruity hints of red fruits and plum, leaving room for pleasant tobacco and black pepper notes to close with balsamic herbs scents. Round and full-bodied on the palate, with well-structured but silky tannins. The correspondence between aromas and flavour is excellent. Persistence is also good.
FOOD PAIRINGS
It goes well with red meat, game and aged cheeses. Must try with your barbecue
