Revoluscion is an ancestral white wine from the Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne winery. It is located in the heart of one of Italy’s most fascinating wine regions. This wine is not just a high-quality product; it is also a production philosophy that departs from traditional methods. The name Revoluscion comes from a local dialect word. It symbolizes progress and change. These values are intrinsic to the winery’s work. Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne has been a pioneer in producing ancestral wines in its province. The 2022 harvest has created a wine that embodies the innovative character of the estate. Its story and winemaking process deserve to be told.
The Winemaking
The wine Revoluscion is made from biancame grapes and stands out for its spontaneous fermentation, exclusively using indigenous yeasts, which lasts about 14 days. After this phase, the wine is bottled with its lees for bottle aging. This process, free from clarification and filtration, and without added sulfites, allows the wine to maintain extraordinary naturalness and authenticity. The choice not to filter the wine may result in sediment, a distinctive sign of the product’s quality and typicity. Care and attention during the manual grape harvest further contribute to creating a wine that reflects the terroir from which it originates.
Tasting the wine Revoluscion
The wine presents a complex and intriguing aromatic profile. Notes of smokiness and dried fruit intertwine with hints of yeast, licorice, almond, and turmeric, accompanied by fresh citrus and spicy notes. This combination of aromas makes the wine extremely versatile and enjoyable to drink. The ideal serving temperature is 6 degrees Celsius, which further enhances the wine’s freshness and liveliness. Revoluscion is perfect for snacks, appetizers, light lunches, and can accompany an entire meal, making it an ideal companion for any occasion.
Food Pairings
Thanks to its structure and complexity, Revoluscion lends itself to a wide range of gastronomic pairings. It pairs excellently with various appetizers, cheese and cold cuts platters, and also goes well with blue fish and grilled dishes. Perfect for appetizers and more elaborate dishes, it is a wine that enhances flavors without overpowering them, making it a refined choice for those who want to experience a complete gastronomic journey. With an alcohol content of 12% vol, it is a wine that invites conviviality and discovery, just like its story.

THE WINERY
Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne is located in the picturesque area of the Monti delle Cesane Natural Park, just 3 km from the historic city of Urbino, famous as the home of the celebrated painter Raphael and the residence of Duke Federico da Montefeltro. The winery is named after the cadastral locality where many of its vineyards are located, representing a perfect blend of tradition and innovation in the heart of the Marche region.
History and Philosophy
Founded in 2008, Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne began its journey by recovering over three hectares of old vineyards and planting another five hectares. The winery’s philosophy is based on respect for tradition and the environment, avoiding the use of chemical products and herbicides. Only in cases of extreme necessity are minimal doses of copper and sulfur used in the vineyard, and sometimes reduced quantities of potassium metabisulfite in the winery.
Grapes and Production
The winery primarily cultivates native grape varieties such as Biancame, Sangiovese, Aleatico, and Alicante, alongside international varieties like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The production focuses on “natural” wines, a term that, while not recognized in enological regulations, best describes the winery’s respectful and traditional approach. Fermentations rely on indigenous yeasts, with no clarifications or filtrations, and bottling is done manually.
Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne is dedicated to creating wines that are an emotional and sensory journey, capable of surprising and leaving a lasting impression. Agricultural and winemaking practices are based on knowledge passed down through generations, with a particular focus on uncovering local traditions not found in written texts. The goal is to produce wines that embody the essence of the territory, allowing the grapes themselves, together with time, to define the quality and uniqueness of the products.
With strong roots in the territory and a clear vision of sustainable production, Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne continues to be a reference point for wine lovers seeking authenticity and respect for nature.
