The Schioppettino Rinera is a wine that speaks of its territory with great authenticity, offering a rich and fascinating sensory experience.
The Winemaking
The Schioppettino grapes, grown on sandstone marl soils known as “Ponka” at an altitude of 100 meters above sea level, are hand-picked into crates. The planting density is about 3500 vines per hectare, with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare. The training system is Guyot. During vinification, the grapes undergo skin maceration with alternating pump-overs and délestages, followed by aging in steel barrels. The alcohol content varies between 12.5% and 13.5% depending on the vintage. Respect for the environment and the territory is fundamental in the production process of this wine.
