THE WINE
The Crémant de Loire – Pureté de Silex Brut Clos de la Briderie is a bland of Cabernet Franc (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Chardonnay (20%) and Chenin Blanc (40%) grapes, grown on the right bank of the Loire river and more precisely in the Clos de la Briderie vineyard which is one of the most prestigious vineyards of the denomination. The cultivation is strictly biodynamic.
THE WINEMAKING
The grapes are manually harvested and in the cellar, they are processed with all the dictates of organic farming. Once bottled, the wine rests for at least 24 months on the yeasts before disgorging.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow, with golden reflections and a fine and persistent perlage. The aroma is very pleasant with hints of apple, that leave room for citrus notes to close with hints of bread crust. Very fresh on the palate, well structured with good flavor and a long and persistent finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect with fish, must try with shellfish.
