THE BEER
The weiss beer from Brau im Moss brewery is crafted from a skillfully selected combination of various barley malts. This blend of ingredients is fundamental in creating a beer that stands out not only for its color but also for its unique aromatic profile. Thanks to this combination, the beer acquires a characteristic amber color and a roasted aroma that makes it truly special and appreciated by many.
A delicate yet sparkling beer, the Weissbier offers a surprising sensory experience with a strong clove aroma that immediately captures attention. This is harmoniously combined with a subtle banana note, adding an additional layer of complexity to the taste. According to tradition, this amber-colored beer undergoes a high fermentation process and matures in the bottle until it achieves a full and well-balanced flavor. Therefore, natural fermentation also occurs in the finished Weißbier, contributing to its original and authentic taste.
Like all weiss beers, this beer also ferments in the bottle; by doing so, the yeast percentage remains intact and the taste is guaranteed, resulting in a freshness that lasts over time. This traditional production method is essential for preserving the integrity of the final product.
The unique taste of the Weissbier pairs well with a variety of dishes, making it an excellent choice for gastronomic pairings. It pairs splendidly with red meats and game, enhancing the robust flavors of these dishes. Try it with grilled meat; it is also ideal for aperitifs, offering a freshness that stimulates the palate. Surprisingly, it even pairs well with chocolate desserts, creating a mix of flavors that will delight gourmets.
THE BREWERY
It has been the brewery of the Munch family since 1870; brewers for 5 generations who put the quality of raw materials and the final product first. For their beers, the Brau im Moss brewery uses only fine aromatic hops produced in Hallertau (region of central – southern Bavaria), a quality malt rich in taste and spring water present on the brewery area.
The beers are naturally produced; they are neither boiled nor pasteurized. The combination of raw materials and the artisan production process give these beers a unique and incomparable taste.
