THE WINEMAKING

Produced with the best selections of Nebbiolo grapes that grow in 14 different vineyards located in the municipalities of Barbaresco and Treiso. The soil is rich in clayey-limestone marl and perfectly reflects the terroir of this famous Piedmontese area of ​​the Langhe.

Before bottling, the wine ages in barrique for 12 months and one year in large barrels. Before going to the market, it rests for 12 months in bottle.

Tasting the wine by Gaja

Intense garnet red with orange reflections. The aroma is very balanced with hints of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, which leave room for notes of violet, continuing with a touch of tobacco, mint and spices such as black pepper to close with puffs of leather. Perfectly structured on the palate, fresh and mineral with soft and well-integrated tannins. Perfect match between aromas and flavours with a long finish that never ends. A top-class wine.
