In the heart of Medio Friuli, a region renowned for its winemaking tradition and breathtaking landscapes, lies Cantina Vie Sedean 80; a brand-new entry in the Italian wine scene, currently offered exclusively on Enolike. Founded by Elia, a young wine enthusiast who discovered his passion for enology during a study trip to Australia. The winery represents the realization of a dream. Upon returning to Italy, Elia embarked on an exciting venture: producing his own wine. The winery’s first production includes a total of 7,000 bottles, a blend of tradition and innovation featuring four varieties: Prosecco, Cabernet Franc, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, and Chardonnay.

Grandfather

The name of the winery, Vie Sedean 80, is a heartfelt tribute to Elia’s grandfather. Not only is it the address of his grandfather’s home, but it also symbolizes a deep familial and cultural connection. His grandfather, who spoke exclusively in Friulian, left an indelible mark on Elia’s life, inspiring him to name the winery in Friulian as a homage to his roots. Choosing such a personal and meaningful name underscores the importance of traditions and relationships in the creation of this new wine enterprise.
