A bit of history

Tenuta Gorghi Tondi is a family-run winery located in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily. Founded by the Sala family, the history of the winery is deeply rooted in tradition and a passion for wine, passed down through generations. The inspiration for the creation of the winery came from Dora, an ancestor of the family, whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for what is now an internationally recognized brand. Today, Annamaria and Clara Sala, descendants of Dora, continue to lead the winery with the same innovative spirit and respect for tradition. The values of sustainability, respect for the land, and innovation are at the core of the company’s philosophy, guiding every decision and production process. The family is committed to maintaining a strong connection with the territory and promoting Sicilian wine culture and tradition.
