The Vermentino from the Lunae Bosoni winery
The Vermentino Etichetta Grigia (gray label) from the Lunae Bosoni winery comes from carefully selected Vermentino grapes. This is the first label of Vermentino produced by Paolo Bosoni more than forty years ago. A fresh and binding wine that today is one of the winery flagships.
The Winemaking
The harvest is strictly manual and occurs in the early morning hours when the temperature is still quite cool; once in the cellar, the winemaking begins with a soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks; the wine ages in steel, on the fine lees, for at least three months. After blending and bottling, the wine rests for a few more months in the cellar before being released on the market.
Tasting the wine of the winery
Pale yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma is intense with pleasant citrus notes where lemon and lime zest prevail, leaving room for fruity hints of white peach to close with puffs of myrtle leaves and chamomile. Soft and round on the palate, this Etichetta Grigia Vermentino is well-balanced with a pleasant savory note and a long and persistent finish.
Food Pairings
Perfect with fish, white meats, and medium-hard cheeses. Try it with sushi.

This name, chosen by the Bosoni family, encapsulates the guiding principles that have shaped their work in the vineyard and winery… keep reading
