Bressani Giuseppe Winery
Passione e Competenza
The Winery
Founded in 1935, Bressani Giuseppe Winery is a historic family-run business located in Nimis, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in the province of Udine. This area is renowned for producing high-quality wines, thanks to its unique terroir characterized by marl and sandstone, known locally as “ponca.” These features give the wines from Bressani Winery a distinctive profile, appreciated both nationally and internationally.
Winemaking and Company Philosophy
Over the years, Bressani Giuseppe Winery has evolved, blending tradition with innovation. The winemaking process is based on ancient techniques, such as the appassimento, which enhance the unique characteristics of Friuli’s indigenous grape varieties. The company’s philosophy emphasizes quality, meticulously caring for both the vineyards and the winery, where wines are aged in barriques and bottles. This balance between Friulian tradition and modernity ensures wines of high prestige and personality.
Distinctive Wines and Authentic Hospitality
The Ramandolo DOCG is the flagship wine of Bressani Winery. This sweet wine, made from Verduzzo Friulano grapes, is renowned for its aromatic complexity and its ability to pair with desserts and flavorful cheeses. In addition to wine production, the company offers a unique hospitality experience at the “Al Vecchio Portico” agriturismo. The structure, converted from an old barn, features four carefully furnished rooms, providing guests with an authentic stay amidst the Friulian hills. Guests can enjoy personalized tastings, discovering the beauty of the landscape and the richness of the food and wine culture of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
