The Pinot Grigio from the Ronchi di Manzano winery is a white wine that authentically expresses the characteristics of the Colli Orientali del Friuli region. This wine, made from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, is the result of careful work in the vineyard and winery, leading to the creation of a high-quality product, ideal for various occasions.

The Winemaking

The winemaking of Pinot Grigio begins with the destemming and crushing of the grapes, followed by immediate cooling of the must and gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, in temperature-controlled environments, to preserve the aromatic characteristics of the grapes. After fermentation, the wine is bottled in March and aged in the bottle for a period of two months before being marketed, ensuring a high-quality final product.

Tasting the wine of the winery

Visually, the Pinot Grigio presents a bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, it offers a fresh and clean bouquet, characterized by intense floral aromas and hints of pear, making the olfactory experience broad and engaging. On the palate, it reveals a dry nature, with pronounced acidity and a minerality that provides freshness. The wine is balanced, fine, intense, and persistent, making it an ideal companion for numerous dishes.

Food Pairings

This Pinot Grigio is perfect for pairing with appetizers and cured meats, as well as soups and light starters. It also pairs well with fish dishes, chicken salads, and delicate first courses based on rice and pasta. White meats represent another excellent pairing. It is recommended to serve the wine at a temperature of 8-10°C to best enhance its organoleptic qualities.
