The Wine
The Prosecco Extra Dry of the Bortoluz winery is produced with 100% Glera grapes grown on the hills of the municipality of Valdobbiadene at a height that varies between 200 and 400 meters above sea level.
THE WINEMAKING
The harvest is strictly manual and only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. Winemaking that begins with a soft pressing, followed by a cold static decantation. The must then ferments at a controlled temperature. Follows the sparkling wine process in autoclave. Once bottled, this prosecco rests for a short period in the cellar before being placed on the market.
THE TASTING
Straw yellow with a fine and persistent perlage and a creamy mousse. Fresh and fruity on the palate with pleasant hints of apple, pear and white peach that leave room for light citrus notes and scents of acacia flowers. Aromatic and harmonious on the palate with a good correspondence between aromas and flavor.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with fish and light dishes.
