Cesarini Sforza – Trento DOC

Founded in 1974, the Cesarini Sforza Winery is renowned for its high-quality sparkling wines produced in Trentino. Count Lamberto Cesarini Sforza and Giuseppe Andreaus established the winery, recognizing the potential of local Chardonnay grapes. This insight led to the creation of the “Trento DOC” project, elevating Trentino sparkling wines to an international level. The first Cesarini Sforza sparkling wine, using the classic method, was launched in 1976. This marked a turning point for the winery and cemented its reputation.

Production

Since 2001, Cesarini Sforza Winery has been part of the La-Vis Group. Located in Trento, it spans approximately 10,000 hectares of vineyards. The winery produces about 1,000,000 bottles annually, focusing on Classic Method sparkling wines. Key wines include Trento DOC, Brut, and Rosé Brut. Advanced winemaking techniques ensure quality at every production stage. The Classic Method, featuring a second fermentation in the bottle, distinguishes their sparkling wines. It imparts unparalleled complexity and finesse to the wines.

Philosophy
