The Moscato d’Asti of the Franco Mondo winery is produced with a selection of Moscato grapes from the vineyards owned by the winery. This vineyards were planted in the 1980s and are located in the municipalities of San Marzano Oliveto and Canelle; we are in the center of the typical area of Moscato d’Asti.
After the manual harvest, only the selected grapes are brought to the cellar for winemaking. This wine is obtained from the partial fermentation of the must in an autoclave at a controlled temperature. The long fermentation guarantees the finesse and persistence of the perlage but also the maintenance of all the typical aromas of Moscato grapes.
Deep straw yellow. The aroma is aromatic, with delicate floral notes that alternate with hints of candied citrus fruits to close with scents of aromatic herbs. Sweet on the palate, this wine is moderately alcoholic and slightly lively. Very well balanced, it maintains the characteristics of fragrance and aroma of the grape from which it is obtained.
Perfect at the end of a meal with any type of dessert but in particular with dry pastries. Must try with the fruit tart.
